PRESIDENT AND CHIEF Medical OFFICER

Navarra Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez oversees medical leadership and health improvement activities as the President and Chief Medical Officer for AdvantageCare Physicians. Her 20 years of health care experience includes previously serving as Chief Population Health Officer and Chief Medical Informatics Officer for AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Rodriguez is a practicing Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed her residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital, earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and is a graduate of Harvard University.

Leon E. Kurtz, MD

SVP, Specialty Services

Dr. Kurtz oversees specialty services at AdvantageCare Physicians. He previously served as our Vice-Chair, Department of Gastroenterology. Working with our specialty department chairs, Dr. Kurtz focuses on growing high value specialty care in our offices for our patients and communities. Dr. Kurtz is a practicing Gastroenterologist with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and is certified in Nutritional Support and Infection Control. He received his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, completed his residency and fellowship training at North Shore-LIJ Health System and graduated from New York University.

Anne M. Dunne, RN-BC, MBA

Chief Operating Officer

Anne Dunne oversees Operations, including the Call Center, Revenue Cycle Management, Health Information Management and other services as Chief Operating Officer for AdvantageCare Physicians. She brings more than 30 years of experience in physician practice management, clinical service development and performance improvement. Dunne is certified by the International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and The Commission for Case Manager Certification in case management, and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Disability Analysts. Dunne earned her master’s degree in business management from Dowling College and is a cum laude graduate of The College of New Rochelle, School of Nursing.

Tim Kelly

Chief Strategy Officer

Tim Kelly oversees strategic vision as Chief Strategy Officer for AdvantageCare Physicians. Kelly joined the physician group in 2013 to lead the integration of people, processes and technology following the merger of four legacy medical groups to create AdvantageCare Physicians. His focus now is on balancing strategy formulation and execution both to improve overall quality of care for patients and to develop new business opportunities to expand the group’s impact in underserved communities. Tim received his master’s in Bioethics from New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science and is a graduate of Providence College.

Paul Hebert

Chief Administrative Officer

Paul Hebert leads ACPNY’s administrative efforts that contribute to overall financial performance, including creation of the annual budget, developing long-range strategic and operational goals, exploring opportunities for revenue and site expansion, and leading payor negotiations and interactions. His 34 years of experience includes financial and operational roles at large health plans and a leading national dental plan, Internal Audit, provider service, acquisitions, and international operations. Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University. He also sits on the Board of Directors and serves as the treasurer for the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Julie Patel-Pannullo, MD

Vice President, Clinical Innovation

Dr. Patel-Pannullo guides ACPNY in establishing leading-edge clinical partnerships and ensuring our practice remains active in developing workflows and technology solutions to deliver more personalized care. Her 20 years of health care experience includes previously serving as Regional Medical Director for AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Patel-Pannullo is a practicing Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital of New York, earned her medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is a graduate of Adelphi University, Williamstad School of Business. Dr. Patel-Pannullo is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is fluent in English and Gujarati.

Seema Massand, MD

Vice President, Clinical Quality

Dr. Massand directs our clinical efforts in programs such as the Patient Centered Medical Home accreditation process, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) activities, Hierarchical Condition Coding (HCC), and HEDIS initiatives. Her 20 years of experience includes previously serving as Regional Medical Director at AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Massand is a practicing Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed her residency in family medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, and earned her medical degree at Christian Medical College. Dr. Massand is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Sindhi and Punjabi.

Nicole Thomas-Sealey, MD

Vice President, Clinical Education

Dr. Thomas-Sealey is responsible for developing education and mentorship programs for ACPNY clinicians and overseeing all training programs established with hospital or academic partners. Her 10 years of health care experience includes previously serving as Regional Medical Director at AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Thomas-Sealey is a practicing Board Certified Family Medicine physician. She was Chief Resident at the Mount Sinai Family Medicine Residency Program at Jamaica Hospital, earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and is a graduate of Hampton University. Dr. Thomas-Sealey is a Board Member of AdvantageCare Physicians, member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New York Medical Society, and Co-Program Chair Director, Jack and Jill of Nassau County.

Steven Finklelstein, MD

Gastroenterology

Dr. Finkelstein oversees Gastroenterologists as Specialty Chair for Gastroenterology for AdvantageCare Physicians. His 12 years of experience includes previously practicing at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Dr. Finkelstein is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. He completed his residency at New York University Hospital, and earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Finkelstein is currently a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Stephen Haug, MD

Ophthalmology/Eye Care

Dr. Haug oversees Ophthalmologists as Specialty Chair for Ophthalmology for AdvantageCare Physicians. His 25 years of experience includes previously serving at AdvantageCare Physicians Medical Centers in New York City. Dr. Haug is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He also completed an internship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital of Boston. Dr. Haug is currently a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Henry Habib, MD

Podiatry

Dr. Habib oversees Podiatrists as Specialty Chair for Podiatry for AdvantageCare Physicians. His 19 years of experience includes previously serving at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine in New York City. Dr. Habib is a Board Certified Podiatrist. He also completed his residency at Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and earned his medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Habib is currently a member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

Beverly A. Sheppard, MD

Pediatrics

Dr. Sheppard oversees Pediatricians as specialty chair for pediatrics for AdvantageCare Physicians. Her 35 years of experience includes previously serving at the Harlem Hospital Center and the Queens-Long Island Medical Group. She currently serves as an assistant professor in pediatrics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell, teaching second-year medical students. Dr. Sheppard is a Board Certified Pediatrician. She also completed her residency from New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell, and earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Sheppard completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University.

Seth Resnick, MD

Psychiatry & Behavioral Health

Dr. Seth Resnick is the founding chair of the new Psychiatry and Behavioral Health department at AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Resnick is Board Certified and maintains a clinical practice and expertise in General Psychiatry, as well as Pain Medicine, Palliative Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Resnick previously served as the chief of general medical psychiatric services at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.

Bruno Casanova, MD

Women's Health

Dr. Casanova oversees Obstetricians and Gynecologists as specialty Chair of the Women’s Health Department at AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Casanova is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. He is certified in Robotic Surgery. Dr. Casanova has more than 15 years of experience including with multiple scientific publications under his name. He completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center, in Long Island and his internship at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Dr. Casanova obtained his medical degree from the University Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and completed a fellowship in Research in Reproduction and Women’s Health at the University of Pennsylvania. He has a Master of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts from Manhattanville College in New York. Dr. Casanova is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy.

Yevgeniya Dynkevich, MD

Endocrinology and Nutrition

Dr. Dynkevich oversees the Department of Endocrinology and Nutrition as specialty chair for AdvantageCare Physicians. She has over 10 years of experience and has been a Board Certified Endocrinologist since 2009. Dr. Dynkevich completed her residency and Fellowship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in the Northwell Health system. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse. Dr. Dynkevich is currently a member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists and Endocrine Society. She is fluent in English and Russian.

Haitham Ahmed, MD

Cardiology

Dr. Haitham Ahmed is Chair of Cardiology at AdvantageCare Physicians. He completed his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School, and his graduate public health degree at Harvard University. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Ahmed has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association Network Journals, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of the American Heart Association, European Heart Journal, Circulation, and others. He has given national and international talks on preventive cardiology, coronary artery calcium, blood pressure control, diabetes management, lipid management, and obesity. Dr. Ahmed is a fellow of the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
Neha Ohri, MD

Neha Ohri, MD

Rheumatology

Dr. Neha Ohri is the Chair of Rheumatology for AdvantageCare Physicians and currently practices at ACPNY’s Midtown medical office in Manhattan. Dr. Ohri grew up in Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree at Penn State University and her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She returned to Massachusetts for her residency at Boston Medical Center before attending the University of Colorado for her fellowship, where she received her Master of Science in Clinical Science. Dr. Ohri’s research in rheumatology and immunology has been presented at multiple conferences. Prior to her transition to ACPNY, she was an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her interests include autoimmune disorders and preventive health.

Eveth Green

Eveth Green, FNP-BC, MBA

Vice President, Nursing

Eveth Green serves as Vice President of Nursing at AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) and is a practicing board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She brings more than 15 years of diverse health care experience which includes various leadership roles at Advantage Care Physicians such as Regional Clinical and Operations Director. Eveth was awarded the United Hospital Fund’s Tribute to Excellence in Healthcare in 2021. This award recognizes Quality Improvement Champions across the New York metropolitan area for their extraordinary personal leadership. Eveth earned her MSN in leadership and management, MBA from Western Governor’s University, and graduated with honors from Pace University’s College of Health Professionals.
