New York, NY (January 19, 2024) – AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY), one of the largest primary and specialty care practices in New York City, recognized doctors for their work and dedication during the Provider Recognition Awards. The biannual program acknowledges ACPNY's diverse providers who demonstrate excellence in patient care, community service, education, and leadership.

Executive Team’s Award for Physician Leadership Excellence: Dr. Beverly Sheppard Awarded by the Execute Leadership Team of ACPNY in recognition of physicians' demonstration of leadership values through clinical and service contributions that enhance and improve care delivery, patient access, and employee engagement and growth. |

Community Volunteerism Award: Miao Yu-Burns, LCSW Awarded for the provider’s ability to engage our community and enhance its health and well-being. |

Mentorship and Education Award: Dr. Michael Zelenetz Awarded in recognition of the provider’s ability to enhance the care team and provider professional growth and development opportunities through mentorship and educational activities. |

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award: Allison Denny, LCSW-R Awarded in recognition of provider’s ability to drive cultural competence, improve access to care, and create a more inclusive workplace through greater understanding of whom we serve. |
