About Bruno Casanova, MD

Dr. Casanova oversees Obstetricians and Gynecologists as specialty Chair of the Women’s Health Department at AdvantageCare Physicians. Dr. Casanova is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. He is certified in Robotic Surgery. Dr. Casanova has more than 15 years of experience including with multiple scientific publications under his name. He completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center, in Long Island and his internship at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Dr. Casanova obtained his medical degree from the University Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and completed a fellowship in Research in Reproduction and Women’s Health at the University of Pennsylvania. He has a Master of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts from Manhattanville College in New York. Dr. Casanova is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy.
